“Great Interns SA” Provides Paid Interns, Your Business Provides Experience

The Greater Chamber invites businesses to participate in “Great Interns SA,” where you can connect with organizations like Family Service, George Gervin Center and the City of San Antonio who can provide paid, qualified interns for your company this summer.

The Chamber is hosting the breakfast to provide any interested companies with helpful information such as available age groups, overall program timeline and qualified skill sets like science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Additionally, previous company participants will be at the breakfast to share their experiences and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

“This is a great opportunity to link eager students with our local businesses and non-profits in order to gain quality work experience,” said Chamber President and CEO Richard Perez. “It also allows businesses and non-profits to start grooming our next generation of employees.”

The information breakfast will be May 16 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Sally Cheever Girl Scouts Leadership Center. Click here to sign up. For more information, please contact Andria Castillo, Vice President Education and Workforce Development for The Chamber, at acastillo@sachamber.org or (210)229-2134.
