Event Description

Join the Chamber Ambassadors as we celebrate the opening of the new Whataburger at Bulverde Road and 1604.  Whataburger has focused on its fresh, made-to-order burgers and friendly customer service since 1950 when Harmon Dobson opened the first Whataburger as a small roadside burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Today, the company is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, with more than 700 locations in 10 states with sales of more than $1 billion annually.  The ribbon cutting ceremony will consist of a check presentation for to a local charity as well as a flag-raising ceremony and presentation of colors.  Lynn Dobson, Founding Family member, will be speaking along with other representatives from Whataburger.
