Event Description

Our Lady of the Lake University will host a celebration of the Westside of San Antonio as an official Fiesta Event. Best of the West is a family friendly event held on the grounds of Our Lady of The Lake University. The mission of Best of the West is to 1) raise funds to provide scholarships to OLLU students; 2) increase visibility for the University and its important role in our community and beyond; and 3) celebrate the small businesses and culture of the Westside. •Best of the West will have plenty of food and drink for the whole family •Gates open at 11 a.m. with food tasting from 15 - featured restaurants from the Westside •All tickets available at the door •Tickets for adults are $8.00 and children are $4.00 - each ticket entitles you to 3 samples from the food booths of your choice •Local musicians and performers will be on stage throughout the day entertaining the crowds •Children's activities will include games, demonstrations, children's performers, and children's food tasting booths More info: http://www.ollusa.edu/fiesta
