Independent Reports by City and Tech Bloc Address Annexation Program Viability
Managing our city’s growth is an important consideration as the City of San Antonio weighs its policy on annexing 3 parcels in surrounding areas of the city. Two reports were commissioned by independent consultants to evaluate the viability of the program and the accuracy of growth assumptions, revenue estimates, and anticipated costs. These reports were provided to the Annexation Workgroup, which was appointed to review these components of the annexation program and to the City Council, who will ultimately decide on whether and how to move forward with this program and corresponding policy into the future.
